A little cloud is a good thing
We happily cruise in light rain and overcast skies, often the prettiest light on the harbor. We only pause for genuinely unsafe weather.
What we watch on the water
We track the National Weather Service marine forecast for both harbors right up to your departure. A cruise is only paused for conditions that genuinely make the water unsafe or unpleasant:
- Sustained high winds or small-craft advisories
- Thunderstorms, lightning, or heavy downpours in your window
- Dense fog or any official harbor closure
If your date looks questionable, we reach out to you directly, usually the morning of, and we make the call together. Light rain, heat, and cloud cover are not cancellations; plenty of guests tell us an overcast harbor is the most beautiful version of the city.
See the days ahead in both harbors
A five-day outlook for each dock, so you can pick the prettiest window. Mild temperatures and calm winds make for the smoothest, sunniest cruises.
